2. Mathematical interests

Please answer (in free form) the questions below.
 
Former Dubna Schools' participants can skip questions 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 and 2.5, 
			and answer questions 2.4, 2.6 and 2.7 instead.

2.1. Three mathematical problems that you presently find most interesting.

2.2. Cite a short mathematical proof that impressed you by its beauty 
	and/or unexpectedness (if you have met one).

2.3. Try to describe one of the courses you have taken 
		(preferably, among the most recent ones; 
		you can also describe, using the same scheme, a mathematical book you've read):

	2.3.3. Your own impression: how well have you understood the topic?
	2.3.4. Main theorems of the course (at most three).

2.4. Mention a few mathematical topics that you understand well. 
	 Which of them would you like to investigate further?

2.5. List a few mathematical themes about which you do not know a lot, 
	 but which you are going (or at least would like) to learn.

2.6. List mathematical books that you have mastered (at least by 30%).

2.7. If you have participated in the 2005 or 2006 Dubna schools, 
	  please list the courses that you attended.

3. Recommendations

If someone can recommend you to the Organizing Committee to participate 
in the School, please give his/her contact coordinates 
(name, position, e-mail or address, phone number).

(Participants exempted from the admission fee do not need a recommendation.)

The committee's work will be easier if you'll present a recommendation, 
but more than three recommendations will not be considered.

The recommendations should be sent to the Organizing Committee before 01.06.2007.
