Semi-infinite variations of Hodge structures arise naturally over parameter spaces of non-commutative objects like associative algebras or A-infinity deformations of algebraic manifolds. In this talk I'll discuss relations of semi-infinite variations of Hodge structures with integrable hierarchies of KdV type.
