December 7 - 11, 2015, Moscow, Russia

Organisers

Grigory Kabatiansky (Laboratoire Poncelet, IITP)

Philippe Lebacque (University of Besançon)

Christophe Ritzenthaler (University of Rennes)

Benjamin Smith (INRIA, École polytechnique)

Michael A. Tsfasman (Laboratoire Poncelet, Institute for Information Transmission Problems)

Alexey Zykin (University of French Polynesia, NRU HSE, IITP)

General Information

The aim of the conference is to bring together a community of researchers interested in arithmetic geometry and its applications. We hope that a collaborative, casual atmosphere will stimulate fruitful interactions between pure arithmetic geometers and those working on more applied aspects.

We plan to devote morning sessions to talks given by well established mathematicians, presenting the state of the art in particular areas of arithmetic geometry, including open problems and new research directions. During afternoon sessions younger researchers at the beginning of their academic career will be invited to present their results.

Topics that we intend to discuss during the conference include

  • Arithmetic of elliptic curves and abelian varieties
  • Methods involving modular forms and automorphic representations
  • Algorithmic aspects of curves and abelian varieties
  • Algebraic geometry codes
  • Explicit aspects of moduli spaces
