Topical School

In order to attract promising students and young researchers, a topical school will be organized in Saint Petersburg from 14 to 17 September 2011. Four mini-courses will be given by:

Prof. Bertrand Eynard (CEA, Saclay, France): Random matrix methods in statistical physics

Prof. Remi Rhodes (Univesity Paris-Dauphine, Paris, France): Gaussian multiplicative chaos: motivations, theory and applications (lecture notes)

Prof. Leon Takhtajan (Stony Brook, New York, USA): Introduction to conformal field theory: Liouville model

Prof. Michel Zinsmeister (University of Orleans, France): Growth processes (lecture notes)

The lectures will be given at the Chebyshev Laboratory.
