Painleve equations in the study of the Fourier transformation

The functional equations of standard number theoretical zeta functions such as the Riemann zeta function express the behavior under Fourier transformations of certain distributions. The usual Fourier transformation itself (and its generalizations) becomes then the initial object of study. In this study we have obtained differential equations with the Painleve property.
